Bred and raised with intention
The people, philosophy, and patience behind every MKM Sport Horse.
A boutique program, by design
MKM Sport Horses is intentionally small. We don't breed in volume — we breed with purpose, selecting bloodlines for correct conformation, careful temperament, and the scope and technique the hunter/jumper ring demands. That same philosophy carries through every stage of a horse's life with us: unhurried groundwork, correct starting under saddle, and rehabilitation built on patience rather than shortcuts.
Every horse that passes through our program — whether homebred or in for training — is treated as an individual, not a number. We believe that's what upper-level sport demands, and it's what we'd want for our own horses.
Hunters and jumpers, exclusively
We focus specifically on producing and developing horses suited for the hunter and jumper disciplines — animals with the balance, brain, and jump technique to progress through the levels. This focus lets us specialize rather than generalize, from the mares we choose to breed from to the way we structure a young horse's early education.

A lifelong horsewoman's farm
MKM Sport Horses is run day-to-day by a founder with a lifelong background in competitive showjumping and dressage, and a deep interest in equine rehabilitation and evidence-based care. That dual love — for performance and for wellbeing — shapes everything about how we breed, train, and care for our horses.
We believe the best sport horses come from farms that never stop learning: staying current on training methods, therapeutic advances, and the equipment that keeps horses comfortable and sound for the long term.
